Personnel
Capabilities

Incorporated in 1987, ESI offers contract research, consulting, and expert witness services to industry. Principal areas of expertise are low frequency electric and magnetic field   induction analyses, buried structure corrosion studies, and  cathodic protection system design. ESI has wide experience in collocated rights-of-way power line electromagnetic induction and magnetic field exposure problems. Experience in the prediction, measurement, and management of electric power line magnetic fields is extensive.

Company Expertise

ESI has extensive capabilities in both theoretical research coupled with a practical engineering approach. Our expertise is to apply innovative approaches to problem solution using the state-of -the art numerical analysis, computer simulation and modeling, and laboratory and field measurements. The approach is to use complex analytical procedures as necessary for problem solution. However, the final presented solution will be one that provides the client with a practical, realizable, and understandable result.

Specific ESI expertise is in the following areas:

*Low frequency electromagnetic/magnetic field analysis, prediction, management and exposure assessment.

*Mitigation of electromagnetic induction to power line collocated facilities such as buried pipelines and railroad signaling and communication equipment.

*Galvanic corrosion analyses and cathodic protection design for buried facilities.

ESI is not affiliated with any other company. Hence, it maintains an independent position and complete client confidentiality in all work.
